In the lightweight preliminary bout at BKFC UK Newcastle, Lewis Keen knocked down Lewy Sherriff 3 times in round 2 and 3 times in round 3. The 6 knockdowns resulted in a stoppage in the 3rd Round giving victory to Lewis Keen. When asked how he felt about the win, Lewis said, "my face is still pretty and my hands are in tact."
What is next for Keen? He says, "Whatever is next - the biggest challenge next!"

When Melanie Shah is asked how she feels after her debut win by split decision in the bantamweight fight against Mathilda Wilson, she says she "feels fantastic - could go again - brilliant." As for Shah's game plan, Shah said she planned to go "heavy and hard, to pressure her," but said Wilson "did a lot of holding" and it threw her off.
What's next for Melanie Shah? She says she's ready for the next fight saying, "On to the next opponent!"

Will Cairns says he "felt good in the 1st round" in his Super-Lightweight bout with Liam Wilson at BKFC UK Newcastle. He scored some hits in against Wilson who suffered a bad cut; but, in the 2nd round, he said a right hook to the body from Wilson "got me." Cairns said it was a good fight, but "it wasn't meant to be."
When asked what's next for him, Cairns said he will "fight whoever else wants to fight," and "I'm ready to fight tomorrow."

When Anthony Holmes and Darren Hendry stepped into the ring for their co-featured bout for the BKFC UK Cruiserweight Title, it was only a matter of time before one man would be crowned champion.
A native of the United Kingdom, Holmes (4-0-1) came out strong in round one, landing a series of powerful punches against Hendry (5-1). But Hendry's superior athleticism allowed him to take control of the fight in round two and land a series of power shots that would end up being the difference in this fight.
Holmes would turn the tables in round three by controlling the action against a more defensive Hendry. But opening up round four, it was Holmes who landed a huge right hand dropping Hendry as the fight was stopped at 0:29 mark of the round. With this win, Holmes wins his first major title belt while Hendry remains undefeated. What does Holmes want next? To train at Jackson Wink in the USA.

When asked how he felt after his 1st round TKO against Darren Godfrey, the middleweight winner, Danny Christie, says he is "pleased, really pleased." And while in the interview he said he couldn't fully remember how he finished the fight, it was the upper cuts and left hooks that made it an "early night." Christie said his nerves were still high after Wembley, but "you feed off them nerves and after they landed I was a bit calm." Christie's game plan was to knock Godfrey out, to "plant bombs early," and "don't throw unless you're gonna connect."
What's next for Christie? "Christmas!" And, he says he'll "take anyone" in his weightclass.

A valiant effort by BKFC fighter Steve Banks but Mick Terrill was just too much. The fight was called in the 2nd round, dr stoppage after Terrill sliced up Bank's Face. Banks says Terrill just hit him with more crosses and moved much better than he expected.

In a bloody affair, Terrill bested Banks to earn a shot at the BKFC Heavyweight World Title. Mick landed some strong rights against Banks who is a Southpaw. In the second round power shots, and more hits left Banks battered with a bloody eye. At the end of the 2nd round the ringside physician stopped the bout due to the severity and multitude of Banks’ cuts. Mick's game plan was to use a lot of shots and movement and he got the win
Terrill is a fighter that never quits, he won't even sit in between rounds and told Bare Knuckle News he broke his foot eight weeks ago and was unable to complete a full fight camp.
Next up it looks like a re match with Arnold Adams and maybe a move to Florida.

“Things happened so fast, I don’t know what to think about the combinations that were working for me in the first round,” said first-time bare knuckle brawler, Drako Rodriguez. As a good friend of Carlos Trinidad, Rodriguez wanted to share the Bareknuckle experience, and used his previous skills as an MMA fighter and boxer to outlast his opponent in a tough three round “punch-fest.”
“I learned a lot, it was a good experience, especially fighting with no gloves, it was a really big thing for me.”
Next time in the squared circle, Rodriguez says, “I’m going to listen to my coach and keep my eyes open and chin down and follow the fundamental rules and to not be too hungry for the knockout because that’s when you get dropped yourself.”

“I ran a lot this training camp, and it helped.” stated Alonzo Martinez, as he gutted out a slogging 5 round decision over Jordan Christensen at BKFC 33 in Omaha, Nebraska. Before a sell-out crowd, the hometown favorite felt the strength of Christensen and was doing all he could to keep ahead on points in the 175 pound battle.“He’s a tough dude, and he’s a bit bigger than I thought he would be.” recounted Martinez, “They’re too big for me, I need to get back down to 165, 155 my regular fight weight class.” “I was trying to end it quick, but that didn’t happen.” Martinez said upon reflecting on his well-earned victory.
